About the Corn Plant

This popular houseplant is a much needed addition to your living space. Her stunning multi-tonal green leaves; coupled with our hand-crafted ceramic black planter, will add a certain je ne sais quoi to your humble abode.

The Corn Plant has become a popular houseplant due to her easy-going nature. She originally comes form Africa.

  • Care for me:

    Humid environment
    This plant enjoys a modest humidity, she can thrive in normal room humidity, but prefers a humidity of over 40%. She will occasionally need her leaves misting to keep her in prime condition.

    Light requirements
    The Dumb Cane Plant thrives in bright indirect light. She will be able to grow in lower light, but her growth will be stunted, and her leaves will be lighter in colour.

    Watering requirements:
    This plant requires regular watering – keep the top of her soil moist. Make sure that you use filtered non-fluoride water as otherwise her leaves will turn yellow.

    Maximum plant height
    The Corn Plant will grow a maximum of 4-6ft indoors.
